The 3* hotel is centrally located and yet very quiet. In 2-3 minutes walking distance you can reach the train station, the village center is about 4-5 minutes away.

The bus stop from where you are transported free of charge with the local/ski bus to all mountain railroads (Grindelwald-First, Pfingstegg, Männlichen) is also in "only" 2-3 minutes walking distance.

From the same location, there are also three mountain bus lines to Bussalp (summer & winter), Waldspitz (summer) and Grossen Scheidegg (summer).

Your journey to the Hotel Caprice in Grindelwald

Arrival by car

On the highway from Basel, Geneva, Zurich via Bern to Spiez, from here on a good road via Interlaken to Grindelwald.

Free parking is available to our house guests who book directly with us. Guests who book via a booking platform (such as booking.com) pay CHF 5.00 per vehicle per night.
Underground parking spaces in the hotel's own underground car park cost CHF 15.00 per and must be reserved in advance.

E-charging station for your electric car

We are delighted to offer our guests and non-guests two 11 kWh charging stations for electric vehicles directly at the hotel (CHF 0.50/kWh). This allows you to conveniently charge your car overnight and start your new mountain adventures relaxed the next day. Sustainable travel without compromising on comfort – now even easier with us. International fast trains run to Interlaken Ost, from there with the Berner-Oberland-Bahn in 35 min. to Grindelwald.

With the exception of Basel / Mulhouse airport, the airports listed here all have a direct rail connection from the airport train station. The airport Basel / Mulhouse has a regular shuttle bus connection to the main station of Basel.
